Significant Other was issued in 1999 and it peaked at the very top of The Billboard 200 chart – an excellent proof that Limp Bizkit’s creativity was enjoyed by millions of listeners. The quintet’s explosive performances made great impressions, so every year the number of band’s fans kept on increasing. The career of Limp Bizkit was picking up steam, and the musicians got their success not only due to the studio work. That album let the band reach the world level, and by 2001 Three Dollar Bill, Yall$ was certified double platinum. Limp Bizkit’s debut long play titled Three Dollar Bill, Yall$ saw the light in 1997. The unexpected phrase was so much loved by Fred Durst that he simply changed the spelling and the quintet stopped being nameless. After searching through many variants, Sam Rivers exclaimed that his brains turned into “limp biscuit” because of all these names. Thereby the line-up was finally completed, and it was the time to think about the band’s name. Soon the quartet was joined by DJ Lethal, an ex-member of the famous hip-hop group House Of Pain. Then they were joined by the drummer John Otto, and a bit later the musicians welcomed an outstanding guitarist Wes Borland. Everything started when the vocalist Fred Durst met the bassist Sam Rivers. The band Limp Bizkit, which is considered to be one of the pioneers of nu-metal and rap-core, was formed in the middle of nineties in Florida.
